Parents must contact the school before 9am in the morning if their child is going to be away from school.

If your child needs any medication during school hours, please come in and sign a release form to explain the reason for the medication and the instructions for taking it.
We receive lunches in schools through the Ka Ora, Ka Ako-Healthy School Lunches Programme. Every day your child will be supplied with a free lunch at lunchtime, comprising of a main meal, piece of fruit and a biscuit or muffin. Your child will be able to choose to eat the provided lunch. WE also are a Fruit in Schools school.
Students receive free school stationery for their learning. They are also provided with a school device for learning purposes.
Attendance Dues for the Catholic Schools in the Hamilton Diocese are $536.00 (incl GST) per year, (i.e. $134.00 per term or $10.30 per week) plus an optional $60 Catholic Character donation.
This is payable to the Catholic Diocese of Hamilton (it is not through our school). These forms will be included in your child’s enrolment pack.
You can either pay the full amount or set up an automatic payment of $10.30 per week for 52 weeks.
We have many options to support families and money should never prevent our learners in getting the education they deserve. If at any time the attendance dues or activity fees are an issue, our principal Brigit Nieuwboer or office administrator, Caroline Morunga can assist. Any inquiries will be kept confidential.
Attendance Dues Financial Assistance – Key Reminders
When supporting families to apply for Attendance Dues financial assistance:
Applications must be signed off by the Principal or Parish Priest who will forward this on
your behalf to the Catholic Integrated Schools Office.
Unless on compassionate grounds (e.g. medical issues or death of a parent/sibling),
families must have an automatic payment in place before applying.
Applications will not be processed unless regular payments have already started.
Families must not stop automatic payments unless they speak with the Catholic
Integrated Schools Office first.
Financial assistance usually covers up to 50% of attendance dues (at the Diocese
discretion). The remaining balance must be paid by automatic payments by year end.
Families are strongly encouraged to continue payments over the Christmas holidays to
stay ahead for the following year.
